INTRODUCTION

Merced City School District is inviting suppliers and contractors to submit bid proposals for the Margaret Sheehy Elementary School – Modernization, Increment 2 Bid #2022-09 project. The project is located at 1240 W 6th St. Merced, CA 95341.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The project consists of upgrades to the existing kindergarten play area, upgrading the accessible student drop-off, and site improvements. Building rehabilitation and addition to the existing Administration Building. This includes HVAC replacement, new lighting, data, fire alarm, casework, wall, and floor finishes. Fire Alarm work will be done to the Administration Building.

This is a CM Multi-Prime to Merced City School District. MWC is the CM on this project. Please review plans and specs including all Addenda.

To be eligible to bid this project, the following Bid Packages must attend one of the following job walks:

• Demo, Electrical, Earthwork, & General Specialties

Meeting will be held at the Jobsite: 1240 W 6th St. Merced, CA 95341 (Meet at the flagpole in front of the Admin Bldg)

• 1st Job walk – 4/18/2023 @ 3:00 PM

• 2nd Meeting – 4/25/2023 @ 3:00 PM
